Morgan Bishop

Senior Clinical Psychologist

Hi, I’m Morgan (she/her), and I’m a Clinical Psychologist at Prosper Health Collective.

I approach every session with openness, curiosity and humility. I believe effective therapy begins with listening and collaboration, so we will work together to understand what matters to you and respond to your needs with care and consideration.

Therapy is a process of learning, and I welcome the moments when we may need to pause, reflect or try something differently. My aim is to create a therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, respected and able to be yourself.

I particularly enjoy working with transgender, gender-diverse and queer clients. As a queer trans woman, I value the opportunity to support people within our community and understand how important it can be to find a psychologist who offers a genuinely welcoming and affirming space.

More about Morgan

I completed my Master of Clinical Psychology at Curtin University. I have worked across a range of settings, including private practice, hospital services, sleep psychology and Employee Assistance Programs. I also have experience providing therapy to people navigating physical and psychological injuries.

Outside of work, I have a longstanding love of the Japanese language, which I studied formally for seven years and continue to practise through conversation and Japanese media. I also enjoy animation, drawing and comedy in all its forms. Music is another important part of my life, particularly Midwest emo, hip-hop and rap.

I look forward to meeting you and working together.
