Ms Deborah Roberts

Senior Clincial Psychologist

“You are not broken. You are beautifully unique.”

If you’re reading this, you might be navigating something that feels heavy, confusing, or overwhelming. I want you to know that I see people first — not diagnoses, not labels, not problems to fix.

My name is Deborah, and I am a Clinical Psychologist at Prosper. My work is grounded in the belief that every person brings strengths, insight and potential, even when life feels stuck. Together, we make space for those strengths and gently work toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful for you.

I’ve worked in disability and mental health services across Australia and the UK for many years, supporting children, adults and families across a wide range of experiences. I have a particular interest in working alongside people with disability and neurodiversity, and I care deeply about inclusion, dignity and helping families thrive.

More about Deborah

I also work with young people and adults living with long-term or enduring mental health challenges. Many of the people I support are navigating more than one layer at a time — such as neurodiversity alongside mental health concerns — and I am comfortable holding that complexity with care and respect.

Outside of my work, I’m a stepmum to two adult children and stay closely connected to my family. I love yoga, cooking Asian food, watching foreign language films, spending time with friends, and walking my Manchester Terrier, Sarah.

If you’re looking for someone to walk alongside you — with warmth, steadiness and genuine curiosity — I would be honoured to support you.
