Ms Jane Peet

Speech Pathologist

As human beings, I believe we are hard-wired with both a desire — and a right — to communicate. Communication leads to connection, and connection to belonging.

Hi, I’m Jane, a Speech Pathologist, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a profession that helps people find their voice and their place in the world.

I’ve always been curious about how we communicate, how we make sense of our experiences, and how connection shapes confidence. That curiosity led me to complete my Master of Speech Pathology at Curtin University, and it continues to inspire the way I work with children and families every day.

I love supporting clients in the areas of literacy development, expressive and receptive language, speech sound development (articulation), and fluency (stuttering). I’m particularly passionate about helping children build the skills they need to participate confidently at school, at home, and in their wider community.

More about Jane

My approach is evidence-based but never one-size-fits-all. I value therapy that is practical, engaging, and meaningful — the kind that fits naturally into everyday life. I work collaboratively with families to create goals that matter and to celebrate progress along the way. For me, therapy isn’t just about developing skills; it’s about nurturing confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.

Outside of work, I’m a mum to two primary school-aged children, so I understand the juggle of family life. You’ll often find me hiking, kayaking, practicing yoga, or spending time with family and friends. If you really knew me, you’d know I was completely obsessed with acrobatics and trampolining as a child — and I still enjoy the occasional handstand (with a proper warm-up these days!).

I would love to support your child on their speech and language journey. Please reach out — I look forward to connecting with you.
