Occupational Therapist

“When we create the right environment, children can truly thrive – and so can their families.”

Hi, I’m Prue – a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who’s passionate about working alongside children, their families, and support networks to help everyone feel heard, supported, and empowered.

I was drawn to Occupational Therapy because it beautifully blends the things I value most – a holistic approach to wellbeing, a strong evidence base, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. Over ten years later, I still feel a sense of joy and privilege walking into every session. I wouldn’t choose any other profession.

There’s something incredibly special about the magic that happens when a child feels safe, seen, and supported. I love working with children and their caregivers to co-create nurturing environments where everyone can flourish – whether that’s in the home, school, or wider community. When families feel confident and connected, real change begins.

More about Prue

My practice is firmly grounded in neuroaffirming approaches. I honour and celebrate neurodiversity, and tailor each therapy journey to suit the unique needs, strengths, and goals of the child and family. From our very first appointment, I work collaboratively and transparently to ensure families feel informed and empowered every step of the way.

Outside of work, I’m a mum to a beautiful toddler who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with wonder. I love strolling through my local community, exploring parks, bookshops, and coffee spots. I also dance – something I’ve done for over 20 years – and I’m driven by a strong sense of justice and a deep desire to contribute positively to the world around me.

If you’re ready to take the next step on your child’s wellbeing journey, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
