Ms Stephanie Lim

“Sometimes, the most important step isn’t having all the answers, it’s having someone who genuinely listens.”

Hi, I’m Stephanie, a Clinical Registrar Psychologist, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where people feel safe to be themselves.

Growing up in an Asian family where mental health wasn’t openly discussed, I came to appreciate how powerful it can be to have someone who listens without judgement. That’s what inspired me to become a psychologist.

I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and children, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship problems, ADHD, autism, OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.

My approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, while supporting you to navigate challenges at a pace that feels right for you. I draw on evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT and DBT, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals.

More about Stephanie

I completed a Bachelor of Science (Double Major in Psychology) at The University of Western Australia, an Honours degree in Psychology at Monash University, and a Master of Clinical Psychology at ISN University. Throughout my training, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across a range of presentations and settings.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll probably find me baking something sweet, singing karaoke with friends, keeping active at the gym, dressing up for a nice dinner, or exploring new cafés and restaurants. I believe it’s the little moments of joy, connection, and balance that help us
hrive, and I encourage my clients to find those moments in their own lives too. Whether you’re looking for support through a difficult time, wanting to better understand yourself, or hoping to build skills for lasting change, I’d love to be part of your journey.
